The money we raise from our cafe goes towards planned events such as day trips to the seaside, theatres, and garden centres.
The Forget Me Not Cafe wants those living with dementia to understand that they are not alone and while we won’t be able to cure the dementia, we will do our best to be there for them with help and support.
Our volunteers are here to offer a listening ear and a kind smile. We also have tables specifically set up to provide useful information and contacts for those that need further help.
The cafe was opened in April 2019 and is run by four ladies, all volunteers, who have worked with people with dementia and their families for over 14 years.
We offer teas, coffees, and a large selection of homemade cakes for people to enjoy.

We’re open every Tuesday at The Salvation Army Hall, Church Street, Wimborne.
